Non-Ferrous Crucible Inc. offers nitinol sheets (nickel-titanium alloy sheet, shape memory alloy sheet, superelastic alloy sheets) with various Af points, allowing for customization of alloy compositions, heat treatment conditions, surface finishes, loading plateaus, and tensile strengths.
Nitinol Square sheets
Nitinol sheets and foils are available in superelastic (no memory) and SMA (shape memory) forms.
NiTi sheets are well suited for laser cutting, electro-discharge machining (EDM), and photo-etching to create small, intricate structures. NiTi in sheet form offers designers more opportunities to work with nitinol. Using a flat substrate allows for the rapid production of small components nested within the sheet, or the ability to create large, unique structures that are not possible starting with wire or tubing.

Related Glossary
Shape Memory Effect
“Shape Memory” describes the restoration of the original shape of a plastically deformed sample upon heating.
Superelastic Effect
An elastic (reversible) response to an applied temperature, caused by a phase transformation between the austenitic and martensitic phases of a crystal.
Ms– Initial temperature for an austenite to martensite transition
Mf– Final temperature for an austenite to martensite transition
As– Initial temperature for a martensite to austenite transition
Af– Final temperature for a martensite to austenite transition

Packing information for our nickel-titanium alloy sheet
Our nitinol sheets are mostly packed in wooden crates, which can protect the products during transportation and handling. We can provide a vacuum pack for some high-precision nitinol parts. Cartons are used for small rolls of nitinol.
We can also program the custom shape when heating titanium nickel alloy sheets, please send us your request to inquiry.crucible@winnewtech.com for any needs on nitinol.
