Tantalum metal is part of the refractory metals group, which are widely used as minor components in alloys. Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73.
Ta Square
Ta is a rare, hard, blue-gray, lustrous transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant. Also, it is highly ductile at high temperatures. They have excellent thermal and electrical conductivity properties. The melting point of 2,996°C of Ta, is the fourth highest of all metals.
The chemical inertness of tantalum makes it a valuable substance for laboratory equipment and a substitute for platinum. Its main use today is in tantalum capacitors and electronic equipment. Such as mobile phones, DVD players, video game systems, and computers.

Our tantalum products are mostly packed in wooden crates, which can protect the products during transportation and handling. Small discs and targets are packed in cartons.
